You can't won't take your eyes off of him! Broadway.com has a brand new video blogger: Jersey Boys star Drew Gehling! Broadway.com has given Gehling, who plays Bob Gaudio in the hit show, a camera to capture all the behind-the-scenes fun at the August Wilson Theatre with his very own video blog, Hit Maker.
The first episode of Hit Maker: Backstage at Jersey Boys with Drew Gehling will premiere on October 31, with new episodes airing every Thursday.
Gehling made his Broadway debut in the role of Bob Gaudio and then appeared in the show's Las Vegas, San Francisco and Chicago companies before returning to the New York company of Jersey Boys. His other Broadway credit is On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
The Tony-winning Jersey Boys tells the story of how Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons went from being unknown New Jersey kids to international pop superstars. The show features over 30 hit songs, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
In addition to Gehling, the current cast of Jersey Boys includes Dominic Scaglione Jr. as Frankie Valli, Andy Karl as Tommy DeVito and Matt Bogart as Nick Massi. The cast also features Peter Gregus, Mark Lotito, Miles Aubrey, Erik Bates, Candi Boyd, Jared Bradshaw, Cara Cooper, Ken Dow, Russell Fischer, Rashad Naylor, Katie O’Toole, Joe Payne, Jessica Rush, Nathan Scherich, Sara Schmidt and Taylor Sternberg.
